FIELD: radioactive waste.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to deactivation of solid radioactive waste, recycling of liquid radioactive waste and fixation of radioactive elements in a steady solid medium. A deactivated surface is treated with ultrasound via a liquid medium capable to hardening, for example a hydraulic binding agent containing abrasive particles. A worked out solution is poured to a reservoir where it hardens with fixation of contaminations within. Then the reservoir is sent to storage or waste burial.
EFFECT: invention increases deactivation ratio and excludes complex and labour consuming operations on recycling of liquid radioactive wastes into solid ones.
