FIELD: measuring instruments; temperature measurement.
SUBSTANCE: according to the invention, a method for detecting temperature consists in placing a thermosensor into a medium under test and detecting the temperature of this medium. First, diagrams of the dependence of thermometer readings on time are plotted for discrete, predetermined calibrated values of temperature of the medium under test and initial temperature of the thermal sensor and a reference data base is created using these plotted diagrams. Then the thermosensor is placed into the tested medium and the temperature of the medium under test is measured at maximal possible number of the thermosensor indications within a fixed time interval. Basing on these indications, a diagram is plotted and compared with the diagrams from the reference data base, and the temperature of the medium under test is determined by means of the most coinciding curve from all the curves in the reference data base.
EFFECT: improvement of the temperature detection method.
