SUBSTANCE: method of production of compression powdered gum-base compositions implies that 1-85% mass of non-compression gum-material is mixed with 1-16% mass of powdered silicate derivative and 4-30% mass of solid polyol. Mixing is carried out at ambient temperature 15-30°C to produce warmed agglomerated paste in plastic physical condition which is thereafter cooled to room temperature to produce solid agglomerated mixture. Then solid agglomerated mixture is crushed to compression powder. Produced compression powdered gum-base composition is applied for chewing gum production. Chewing gum contains 15-80% mass of gum-base compositions. Besides, invention provides method of chewing gum production by dry mixing of powdered gum-base compositions with powdered composition containing aromatising agent and sweeteners, with following compression of produced dry mixture.
EFFECT: simplification of direct compression gum-base composition production.
