FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: device for extrusion of plasticised ceramic mass includes press auger, leakproof casing with profiled working surface in the form of longitudinal protrusions and extrusion head. At that cross section of every longitudinal protrusion is formed by two lines that originate from the protrusion top that faces the casing longitudinal axis, and bases of protrusions are made as contacting between each other along the full perimeter of casing working surface. Angle α between radiuses Rt, which are regenerated to the tops of neighboring protrusions, makes (0.07-0.42) rad. Angle β between radius Rt and tangent, which is drawn through the top of protrusion to one of the sides, makes from (π-0.3) to (π+0.3) rad. Angle γ between radius Rt and tangent, which is drawn through top of protrusion to the other side, makes from (π-0.75) to (π-1.5) rad. Angles ϕ between tangents, which are drawn to these lines in points of their crossing with radiuses Rb, which are drawn to the bases of protrusions, and corresponding radiuses Rb makes (0.75-1.5) rad. At that difference ΔR of radiuses Rb lengthes, which are drawn to contact points of neighbouring protrusions bases, and radiuses Rt is determined from the dependence: ΔR=Rb-Rt=(0.4-1.0)α-Rb. Profiled working surface of casing may be formed by set of inserts with several longitudinal protrusions on the surface that faces casing axis or represent a set of elements, every of which is made with single longitudinal protrusion on the surface that faces casing axis, and represents rectangular contour in its section, which is formed by crossing of lines, which are generatrices of surfaces that are adjacent to casing internal surface, side surfaces and working surfaces, which are directed to the casing axis. Besides, casing may be equipped with wedge lock and support rings, which are installed in its internal surface.
EFFECT: increase of extruded ceramic mass uniformity; provision of evenness of working gap width between auger and casing surface, and reduction of device maintenance labour intensiveness.
