FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to methods and devices for extrusion of plasticized powers. Proposed method comprises forming the initial billet and extruding it dive variable-section die. In extrusion through die, billet material is subjected to unlike cyclic strains of drawing, shearing and twisting by developing two unlike cyclic shrinkage stress perpendicular to extrusion axis acting in counter phase. Maximum increases in of one of said shrinkage stresses are set for material in plane crossing extrusion axis. Maximum increase in second of said stresses is set for material at die inlet and outlet perpendicular to aforesaid plane. Direction of maximum increase in second shrinkage stress in extrusion of material is varied by turning them about die channel axis in whatever smooth periodic function, this period being equal to die channel length while amplitude makes 15-75 degrees.
EFFECT: higher density and homogeneity of extruded product.
