FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of long-length articles from powders and plasticised materials by extrusion. Billets are extruded through annular axially symmetric zone of deformation, material is drawn to form and gage the article. Material is subjected to additional deformation including cyclic drawing and upsetting in axial direction and in surfaces enveloping the female and male dies over the entire length of said annular zone, cyclic upsetting in radial direction as well as cyclic opposite-sign shearing and bending. Shearing is executed in planes passing through drawing axis and in planes perpendicular to said axis. Bending is performed in surfaces enveloping male and female dies and in those passing through drawing axis. Additional deformation is performed in at least one cycle. Forming device comprises extruder and forming nozzle including female die, male die and male die attachment. One or several rows of forming elements are arranged at regular angular pitch. Mirror planes of forming elements cross the male die axis at the angles α varying from 0 to 45°.
EFFECT: higher physical and mechanical properties and yield.
