FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: locomotive contains a cabin, an operator control panel, a display with the keyboard, a control system connected by a data line with the operator control panel, a body, an electric and pneumatic equipment arranged in high-voltage chambers. Every high-voltage chamber and lateral external walls of the cabin are furnished with video cameras of supervision. The locomotive is furnished with, at least, one video camera in operator cabin before a windshield with its objective directed along the motion. The locomotive contains the mobile indication unit (MIU) to display the images of video cameras located in cabins. The MIU communicates with a microprocessor control system via a radio channel. With MIU arranged outside the cabin, the microprocessor control system can check up the operator's wakefulness 2 or 3 times more frequently compared with the case when MIU is mounted inside the operator cabin.
