FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of optical radiation spectroscopy of fluid excited by impulse laser focused on its surface. The method claimed by the invention involves scanning of analysed zone with a laminar gas flow with such speed and cross-section that enables the flow to remove plasma residues suspended in gas as a result of the first laser impulse impact, before the second laser impulse comes.
EFFECT: improved repeatability and precision of spectroscopic analysis.
