FIELD: technological processes; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: such hydrogenated materials may be used in different technical devices, including systems of hydrogen storage for mobile transportation means, for fuel elements, for heating pumps. Method of hydrogenation of material-accumulator of hydrogen-magnesium or titanium includes mechanical activation of this material in atmosphere of hydrogen in the presence of catalyst at room temperature and pressure of 0.2-1 bar for 1-2 hours. After mechanical activation material is heated up to 300°C in atmosphere of hydrogen at pressure of 5-10 bar for 1-2 hours, and as catalyst nano-crystalline powder of nickel, iron and cobalt is used, particles of which are coated with carbon with thickness of carbon layer of 0.5-2 nm. At that amount of catalyst makes 5-10% from total amount of material.
EFFECT: increase of hydrogenation process safety and reduction of power inputs with preservation of target material output.
