FIELD: technological processes; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: graphite articles are first heated up to 2000°C, pumping is stopped and vapors of carbon tetrachloride of class High Purity are introduced in the zone of their location with pressure of up to 50 torr. After 30 minutes reaction products are pumped away through nitrogen trap. Then temperature is increased up to 2100°C, pumping is stopped. Freon-12 is introduced up to pressure of 30 torr, maintained for 30 minutes and afterwards reaction products are pumped away through nitrogen trap. Then isothermal conditioning is performed at temperature of 2100°C under vacuum for 2 hours, then articles are cooled. Prior to extraction of articles inertial gas is supplied.
EFFECT: increase of articles purification degree; reduction of specific consumption of halogen containing gases; specific consumption of power and increase of service life of technological auxiliaries.
