FIELD: metallurgy, particular, refining of metal with use of vacuum in ladle treatment of liquid metal. SUBSTANCE: deposition of high-purity metal on condensing panel is effected at the expense of difference of temperature and pressures between evaporator and condenser, effect of permanent magnetic field on metals susceptible to magnet, concentration of flow of evaporated metal and selective separation of evaporated metal. The device for production of high-purity metal has container, melting crucible, heater, condensing panel with mold made with consideration of aerodynamics of flow of evaporated metal, vacuum pumps, shell rigidly connected to melting crucible with formation of slotted nozzle with condensing panel having heater and cooling system. Control chamber accommodates permanent magnet for deposition of susceptible to magnet metals onto condensing panel, and capillary-porous filter located over metal in melting crucible.
