FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology and can be used for detecting risk of development of ciliochorioidal detachment. Measured are depth of anterior chamber in mm, maximal height of suprachorioidal space in anterior part of eye in mm and intraocular pressure in mm Hg before and next day after operation. If depth of anterior chamber reduces by 25% and more, height of suprachrioidal space increases 6 times and more and if intraocular pressure is lower than 6 mm Hg, development of ciliochorioidal detachment is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible in early terms after antiglaucomatous operation to predict development of ciliochorioidal detachment and, therefore, correct postoperative treatment in due time and in adequate way.
