Doppler velocimetry is carried out, systole-diastolic ratio (CDR) is measured in middle cerebral artery of a fetus before and after physiological testing with breath-holding of a mother. The forecast of severity level of brain damage of a fetus is carried out according to decrease, increase or no reaction on test. Whereby, CDR is additionally measured in arteria of abdominal stalk, and low severity level of brain damage of a fetus is forecasted if CDR value is decreased more than one from the initial value after testing. If the values are increased more than one the average severity level is forecasted, in case if CDR fluctuates in the range of less than one, high severity level is forecasted. The method allows express-forecasting with high level of the results reliability.

EFFECT: express-forecasting of severity level of brain damage of a fetus with high reliability of the results.
