FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environment protection, namely, to method for obtaining sorbent for purification of sewage water from organic compounds. Sorbent for aeration tanks of biochemical installation is obtained from montmorillonite clay with content of montmorillonite 60-70%, which is activated with 80% solution of orthophosphoric acid at temperature of 80-90°C during four hours, with weight ratio of clay to orthophosphoric acid equal to 1:3.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and economy of sorbent for sewage water purification.
