FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machine-building and may be used in separation of current-conducting materials with movable tool for electro-abrasive processing. Method includes direct advance of electro-abrasive tool to separated billet under technological current, electrolyte supply into billet separation zone and billet separation. After billet separation electro-abrasive tool advance is switched off, and separated billet is moved in direction that is perpendicular to direction of electro-abrasive tool advance until stable value of technological current is achieved, after that reverse advance of electro-abrasive tool is carried out until it exist separation zone.

EFFECT: increase of accuracy of processed articles with their separation with combined method.
