FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for cutting hard current-conducting materials using combined electric powered diamond method. Electrode-tool is made in the shape of a circle with the possibility of rotation and displacement in the direction of cut blanks at the right angle, wherein it is made of current-conducting composites of carbon fiber, arranged radially from the center of the circle and between dielectric organosilicon layers, and the end surface and a part of the side surfaces of the wheel is coated with diamond-bearing layer.
EFFECT: higher quality of treated surfaces of cutting channel due to elimination of non-uniform removal of metal with side cutting surfaces, higher efficiency of cutting.
