FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to device and method for application and heat shrinkage of plastic labels. Device contains central casing and external casing, which are coaxially movable one inside the other under effect of nozzle and installed so that to create internal clearance between the mentioned casings and having such shape so that to locate label subject to application, which is applied around container external surface. Device has facility for inlet of hot air into mentioned internal clearance for label heat shrinkage. Device additionally has facility for external casing return into initial position after the mentioned nozzle action is ceased. Method of mentioned labels application contains the following stages: label supply into internal clearance between central casing and external casing; leveling of device with container vertical axis; device and nozzle holding in the time of label application and heat shrinkage; nozzle entry into device and external casing movement so that label is located around container; label heat shrinkage on container; withdrawal of external casing from container with applied label. Group of inventions makes it possible to simultaneously carry out stages of application, positioning and heat shrinkage of label on the container, which provides simplification of technological process and reduction of power inputs.

EFFECT: simplification of technological process of application and heat shrinkage of plastic labels and reduction of power inputs.
