FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: scintigraphy is performed after introduction of osteotropic indicator, marked 99mTc followed by apparatus procession of obtained scintigrammes. Initial and repeated scintigraphy are performed so that projections of region under investigation on detector plane coincide for both examinations. Pixel-by-pixel comparison of two scintigrammes is carried out and two arrays of pixels of matrix of detector E1 and E2 are determined, in which on repeated scintigramme respectively increase and decrease in activity occured. Indices of activity increase IAI and activity decrease IAD are calculated from the formulae where A1(E1) is activity accumulated in array of pixels E1 during initial scintigraphy, A2(E1) is activity accumulated in array of pixels E1 during repeated scintigraphy, A1(E2) is activity, accumulated in array of pixels E2 during initial scintigraphy, A2(E2) is activity accumulated in array of pixels E2 during repeated scintigraphy. When values IAI and IAD are higher than 0.05, respectively, increase or decrease of metabolic osteoblastic activity of bone tissue is diagnosed. Method allows diagnosing objectively simultaneously increase, decrease and redistribution of metabolic activity in affected region and correlation of the latter with anatomical structures of bone, estimating type of changes occuring in pathological nidus and complex processes of remodelling of bone tissue.
EFFECT: ensuring estimation of treatment efficiency and possibility of its correction in proper time.
