FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: uncoiler includes uncoiling station for spools unreeling and splicing tool for joining together web materials coming from the first spool and the second spool. At least two carriers for corresponding web material spools are located at uncoiling station, at that each carrier is connected with corresponding uncoiling elements. These carriers are made and located with possibility to simultaneously support two uncoiled spools during at least one uncoiling phase, and each of the carriers is positioned and made with possibility to load new spool in engaged position, support it during uncoiling and throw it away in release position.
EFFECT: device allows changing empty spool for new one containing material quickly and reliably, without substantial lowering the speed of material feed into continuous production line of processing chain.
