SAPROPEL DEWATERING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C05F7/00 C02F11/12

Abstract RU 2336255 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: machine incorporates a sapropel pressure-feed device, an unloading device, a process device to withdraw water from the sapropel mass made up of a flexible belt traveling in the vertical plane over the drive and tension drums and furnished with beads on its edges for the said sapropel mass to be laid thereon. The aforesaid machine includes also water separators, each representing a continuous flexible belt traveling over the said two drums with its outer surface furnished with a loose capillary-structure material layer. The bearing housings fitted in the shafts of one of the drums are arranged so as to be moved and locked in the guides. The machine comprises, as well, a hollow perforated squeezer roll arranged on the end of pivoted lever to revolve and interact with the water separator flexible belt suck-out layer. An inclined water withdrawal chute is arranged under the squeezer roll, while the flexible belt upper run in the water separator drum area is arranged to be sagged and to embrace the said drum from below. The lower drums are arranged on the machine frame, the squeeze roll lever pivots being fixed on the upper edges of the bearing housings. The sapropel feed device is fitted with a slot proportioner and arranged along the belt width. The upper and lower runs of the flexible belt made in a heat-resistant, heat-conducting material with collars glued to the belt edges are arranged between the lengthwise vertical walls to interact with it by its side edges and rest, by its lower sides, on lengthwise beams attached to cross-pieces connecting the vertical walls. Below the water separator lower drums, the beams are arranged with gaps with their edges on the side of gaps are skewed downward and feature a curvilinear shape with an upward bulge. One of the vertical walls, on the side of the drive drum, is furnished with a branch pipe for the heated air to be passed there through and channeled through and between the flexible belt upper and lower runs towards the tension drum. The slot drum is furnished with a heating device. The axles of both drums of every water separator are arranged along the normal line to the flexible belt plane. The housings of the lower drum bearings are rigidly fixed to the movable frame, while those of the upper drum are located to move along the frame relative to the guides fixed thereon. The lower and upper drums are articulated between themselves by a screw coupling. The movable frame is located to move relative to the guides fitted on the machine base plate. The water separator flexible belt elastic elongation factor exceeds the linear expansion factor of the loose porous open capillary structure material in water-saturated state.

EFFECT: sapropel dewatering higher efficiency, process lower power, labor and costs intensity.
