FIELD: oil and gas production industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to oil and gas production industry, i.e. to fabrication of proppants used as propping agents for oil and gas recovery by hydraulic fracturing method. The method of proppant fabrication from glass spheres that includes fabrication of oxides melt with shaping of spheres and cooling implies additional holding of resulted spheres at temperature 870-1,100°C for 8-25 minutes until glassceramic structure is obtained. At that, glassceramic structure contains minimum 40% of crystal phase, stated melt is obtained by supply of powdered glass in gas flow; stated cooling and holding are performed in single heat unit in rotary furnace.
EFFECT: development of effective method of proppant fabrication from glass spheres.
