FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to neonatology, and can be used for differential diagnostics of ischemic and hemorrhagic CNS involvements of premature newborns. Method is realised as follows. Peripheral blood of premature newborns in the first days of life is tested for lipase activity, nitrite concentration considering gestational age of newborn. Obtained data are used to calculate discriminator (Y). If Y value is less than zero, ischemic CNS involvement is diagnosed. If Y value is more than zero then hemorrhagic CNS involvement is. Application of method provides differential diagnostics of ischemic and hemorrhagic CNS involvement of premature newborns in the first days of life for the purpose of timely treatment of this pathology.
EFFECT: differential diagnostics of ischemic and hemorrhagic CNS involvement of premature newborns in the first days of life for the purpose of timely treatment of this pathology.
