FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: flux cored wire is formed by filling of steel shell with flux. Mentioned flux contains, in wt % from the total mass of wire, titanium dioxide in the amount of 4.0-8.0, fluoride of alkaline metal in conversion to fluorine equivalent in amount of 0.02-0.40 and polytetrafluoroethylene in conversion to fluorine equivalent in amount of 0.02-0.40. Content of alkali-earth metal fluoride in conversion to equivalent of fluorine in flux is adjusted at the level of 0.01 wt % or less from the total mass of wire. Ratio of fluorine equivalents of alkaline metal fluoride and polytetrafluoroethylene in flux in wt % from total mass of wire satisfies preset expressions.
EFFECT: prevention of diffusive hydrogen penetration into welded joint during arc welding; perfect resistance to moisture absorption and high serviceability in welding.
