SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding to arc burning zone belt made of material neutral relative to welded metal; applying on belt surface activating material in the form of mixture of activating flux and polymer at next relation of components, mass %: activating flux, 5 - 80; polymer, 20 -95; using PTFE as polymer; making belt of fibers of silica or kaolin.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of welding process, improved quality of welded seam, rational feed of activating flux and polymer to arc burning zone.
