FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of proppant-granulated proppants used for hydraulic fracturing of oil-and-gas formations. Charge for producing proppant in the form of granules, comprising burst ferrigenous bauxite and sintering additive – at least one component of which is: lime quicklime or hydrated, dolomite, chalk, this bauxite contains Fe₂O₃ 5.5–35.0 % and additionally – industrial waste of proppant production: off-specs dried and off-specs burst granules and dust collecting lines and electrical filters, at the following components ratio, wt%: said bauxite with Fe₂O₃ 5.5–35.0 % by weight – 10.0–75.0, off-specs dried granules – 3.0–60.0, off-specs burst granules 5.0–30.0, said dust is 5.0–40.0, said sintering additive is 0.1–5.0. Method for producing proppant in the form of granules with dimensions of 0.15–4.0 mm from the above mentioned charge, including grinding of charge when feeding the sintering additive to the grinding unit at rate of 0.5–10 kg/min, determined by a frequency of 3.0–50.0 Hz, granulation in amalgamator-granulator with a binder, drying of obtained granules, sifting them, furnacing, cooling them and sifting them into commodity fractions. EFFECT: reduction of solubility in a mixture of acids, the use of low-grade ferrigenous bauxite and industrial waste products, increasing productiveness.
