FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: electrochemical concentrating of aldosterone is conducted on glass-carbon electrode surface during 60 sec at electrolytic potential 0.4 V in 0.1 mol/l aluminium nitrate solution; then anode current-voltage curves are recorded at square-wave scan speed of 90 mV/sec, and aldosterone level is determined by wave height at potential value 0.7 V relative to argentic chloride electrode. Use of the method allows increasing of aldosterone determination accuracy in blood serum, urine, and saliva; makes it possible to conduct rapid assays without using toxic and drastic substances.
EFFECT: increasing of aldosterone determination accuracy and quickness in blood serum, urine, and saliva without using toxic and drastic substances.
