SUBSTANCE: method to synchronise folders at client and server components, containing stages, where a table of deep hierarchy is maintained, besides, each folder in the hierarchy of folders has a line in the deep hierarchy table, at the same time the hierarchy of folders contains multiple folders, which include e-mail data objects, and the specified multiple folders are stored in the server e-mail component that operates in the computer system, lines are updated for folders, when content of these folders is modified, the client e-mail component is subscribed to the deep hierarchy table, a notice is sent to the client e-mail component in response to a variance in the deep hierarchy table.
EFFECT: minimised quantity of request-response cycles between the server and the client e-mail components to increase efficiency of data transfer.
