FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns coating area by hot dipping. Facility contains tank with melt, located in front of tank guide channel in the area of which from both sides of fabric there are provided inductors for electromagnetic field creating and sensor for fabric position defining containing two reels which are in fabric feed path located in the limits of inductor extension by height and between inductors and fabric. Metal fibre is vertically passed through tank with melt and located in front of tank guide channel. In the area of guide channel it is created electromagnetic field by means of two located from both sides of fabric inductors for holding melt in tank and defined position of fabric by means of sensor containing two reels, located in limits of extension by height and between inductors and fabric, at that induced voltage in voltage reels is measured, measured voltages are subtracted from each other and received value is involved for fabric position indicator receiving.

EFFECT: rising of precision of measurement and control efficiency of metal fabric in median plane of guide channel.
