FIELD: metallurgy; coating application.
SUBSTANCE: in the plant, the metallic product passes vertically through a container with the molten coating metal and a guiding channel before the container; at both sides of the metallic product, in the guiding channel area, at least two inductors are installed, generating electromagnetic field keeping the coating metal in the container. In the container bottom area, above the guiding channel, a locking device is installed, which, in its first position, provides feeding of the molten coating metal to the metallic product and/or the guiding channel and, in its second position, prevents the molten coating metal from being fed to the metallic product and/or the guiding channel; the locking device is designed as a baffle that can move relative to the container bottom. The plant allows to perform the coating application process in an optimum manner and provides reliable operation of the plant in critical situations, for example, in the event of an inductor current supply failure.
EFFECT: increased plant operation reliability.
