FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to amphiphilic polysiloxane prepolymers, applicable for manufacturing hydrogel contact lenses. Claimed is amphiphilic polysiloxane prepolymer, which contains hydrophilic monomer units, formed at least from one hydrophilic vinyl monomer, polysiloxane cross-linking units, formed from at least one polysiloxane cross-linking agent, containing not fewer than two terminal ethylene-unsaturated groups; dangling polysiloxane chains, each of which contains terminal ethylene-unsaturated group; and units - chain transfer agents, formed from reagent - chain transfer agent, which is not reagent of radical polymerisation with reversible chain transfer. Also claimed are hydrogel contact lenses, made of claimed amphiphilic polysiloxane prepolymer, claimed in present invention, and method for their obtaining, as well as intermediate product of obtaining claimed preolymer - polysiloxane, partly functionalised with ethylene.
EFFECT: claimed prepolymer is capable of sufficiently fast hardening in mould in obtaining contact lenses without significant shrinkage.
