FIELD: chemistry; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: system consists of a unit for entering the cocking period, a unit for making up important processing factors, first and second adders, unit for determining changes of output coke quality indices on deviation of important processing factors, results output unit and a charge calculation unit, including a stock taking unit for incoming coal, unit for recording movement of coal into silos and a unit for generating information on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of charge material. In the charge calculation unit of the system there is an optimal control and a unit for inputting given values of coke quality indices. In the unit for predicting the quality of coke there is a unit for generating the number of the organisational and technical situation, first memory unit, first comparator unit, first threshold element and three switches. The unit for generating the number of the organisational and technical situation consists of a second memory unit with six outputs, second, third and fourth comparator units, first, second and third scaling elements and a third adder.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of evaluating output coke quality indices; increased output of coke and lowering its input per ton on smelted iron.
