FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building and aims at producing an ICE rocking mechanism allowing adapting to piston stroke variation and/or to piston. The rocking mechanism transmitting the ICE piston reciprocation from the con-rod far end, with the piston attached thereto, to the crankshaft, comprises a rocking element, a fastener for the rocking element to be mounted on the engine crankcase and rock thereon relative to the first axis, a crank articulated to the rocking element so that to turn about the latter relative to the second axis shifted relative to the first one and passing parallel to it between two extreme positions and holding the crank retainer for the crank to be released in one of the extreme positions. The crank element second end is arranged to be articulated to the con-rod far end so that to turn about the third axis, relative to the con-rod, that is shifted from the second axis and passes parallel the aforesaid first and second axes, and to get into a position allowing the rocking element to be articulated to the smaller end of the other con-rod with its larger end linked to the crankshaft to ensure a rotation between the said rocking element and the other con-rod about the fourth axis parallel to the fist, second and third axes. The invention proposes also four versions of the ICE design incorporating the described rocking mechanism.
EFFECT: perfected ICE rocking mechanism allowing adaptation to piston stroke variation and/or piston deactivation.
