SUBSTANCE: on the receiving side of an information source, if necessary, there is formatting, compression of binary digital streams in a compression unit, modulation of the streams in a high frequency modulator, and conversion into a stream of signals. On the receiving side, in reverse order, the stream of signals is demodulated in a high frequency demodulator, converted into a stream of compressed binary digits, decompressed in a decompression unit, formatted, if necessary, and sent to information users. If necessary, on the transmission side, the streams of signals of other groups of information sources are summed up, and on the receiving side, they are divided in multiple access units, for example, with code division. In the processor of the compression unit, in order and simultaneously in one cycle, binary digits of the binary digital streams are read out, multiplied by positive numbers, which are generated, for example, from rapidly increasing numbers using the Merkle-Hellman method and the multiplied numbers are added up with obtaining of a stream of digital symbols. The stream of digital symbols is converted in the processor of the decompression unit in accordance with the Merkle-Hellman method.
