FIELD: transportation, physics.
SUBSTANCE: alternating current voltage is supplied to rail line at one end and current value is measured at other end. Monitored parameter is dependence of receiving end current on feeding end current. When feeding end current corresponds to receiving end current rail line clearness is fixed, otherwise occupancy is fixed. Receiver current should be not less than 25% of the current which was fixed at receiver input before train arrival.
EFFECT: reliability of rail line clearness monitoring when ballast is substantially soaked.
