FIELD: chemistry; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: transformation is carried out with the use of auxotrophic strains (for example, auxotrophic on uracil), which belongs to the genus Mortierella as the host strain. In particular as a marker is used transmissive to the host-strain a gene, that restores proto-trophicity (stage of the transfer of the gene). Further the transformant is taken away using the restoration of proto-trophicity as a marker (selection stage). As the lipid-producing mushrooms, for example, it is possible to use mushrooms of the species M. Aplina.
EFFECT: effective and rational conducting of the selection of lipid-producing mushrooms without using antibiotics.
