SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely to ophthalmology and concerns the method of predicting of development of an autoimmune ophthalmopathy (AIO). The way consists in studying of a plaintive liquid of the best and worst eye sick of the turbo dimetric method analysis by means of test systems on the maintenance of immunoglobulins A and secretory immunoglobulins of class A. On the obtained indicators count value of function (f) under the formula: f=4.148×SIgAL-3186×SIgAX-10.796×IgAL+11.069×IgAX-0.576, where SIgAL - an indicator of a secretory immunoglobulin of class A of the best eye; SIgAX - an indicator of a secretory immunoglobulin of class A of the worst eye; IgAL - an indicator of an immunoglobulin A of the best eye; IgAX - an indicator of an immunoglobulin A of the worst eye. At value f not more than 0.035, define an autoimmune ophthalmopathy with the adverse course prediction, at value f more than 0.035 - with the favourable prediction of course of the disease. Use of the method allows prognosticating in due time AIO course, that gives the chance to prescribe adequate treatment and by that to lower quantity of complications.

EFFECT: maintenance of timely prediction of AIO course, that gives the chance to prescribe adequate treatment and by that to lower quantity of complications.
