SUBSTANCE: method comprises placental protein PP13 level determination in the venous blood of women in the I trimester of pregnancy. If its level is reduced down to 5.34 pg/ml or less, fetal growth retardation at the background of placental insufficiency at later stages of pregnancy is predicted.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of fetal growth retardation diagnosis, which allows to assign a timely adequate therapy in an earlier period.
