SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely obstetrics, and refers to prognostic method for intrauterine growth retardation of fetus syndrome at the second trimester of pregnancy in women, suffered from influenza A (H3N2) at their first trimester. To perform this method total haemoglobin level, erythrocyte sedimentation rate at high point of disease, and antigrippal antibodies level to the virus in paired serums, the second serum antibody level being used as an indicator, are determined. Based on data obtained, discriminant function (D) is calculated; if D value is equal (-22.31) or more, intrauterine growth retardation of fetus at the second trimester of pregnancy is diagnosed; if D value is less than (-22.31), normal intrauterine growth of fetus is prognosticated.
EFFECT: increase in pre-clinical prognostication accuracy of intrauterine growth retardation of fetus at the second trimester of pregnancy in women, having had influenza A (H3N2) at their first trimester.
