FIELD: physics; tests.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to impulse technology, specifically to generation of pulse pressure with conductor electric explosion to generate short shock wave with high pressure amplitude, and can be used for bulk sample testing for pulse surface action resistance, blank deformations, synthesis of ultra-hard material, etc. The technical result is reached by that comparing to the common device containing dielectric case, foil electrically exploded conductor, dielectric layer and sample, the declared device includes the case which is at least two-layered. Layer external for the sample is monolithic, while inside layer is made of porous material of different thickness, and the sample is gapped with dielectric layer.
EFFECT: improved performance of the declared device and possibility of pressure pulse amplitude profiling on irregular-shaped sample surface.
