FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermal and physical measurements. Plane tested sample of certain thickness and plane reference sample of certain thermal resistance are in thermal contact. Preset temperature difference is provided between external planes of reference and tested samples to measure temperature within thermal contact plane in steady-state conditions. Heat source is preinstalled in reference sample parallel to this plane. This heat separates internal and external part of reference sample with certain thermal resistance. Then thermal flow of heat source is changed from zero to such value at which temperature drop of tested sample is equal to half of preset temperature difference. As far as steady-state conditions are provided, heat conductivity of tested sample is evaluated. Thus difference temperature is considered as positive if temperature drop of tested sample is less than that of reference sample. And it is considered to be negative if temperature drop of tested sample exceeds that of reference sample.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of heat conductivity testing within the measurement range extended both downwards and upwards relative to the standard.
