FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to rechargeable cells with liquid ionogen. In this invention accumulator battery cell comprises negative electrode, ionogen containing conducting salt and positive electrode where SO2 is the base of ionogen. Thanks to intermediate space between positive and negative electrodes, active mass depositing on negative electrode when the cell is charged contacts with positive electrode causing locally limited short-circuit reactions on electrode surface.
EFFECT: creation of rechargeable cell satisfying high safety standards.
