FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lithium electric battery (i.e., a lithium secondary chemical power source). Electric battery with a housing, a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte contains SO2 and a salt of the active metal of the cell which increases its electroconductivity, at least one of the electrodes contains a binder selected from the group including binder A, binder B, or a mixture of binders A and B. Binder A is a polymer constructed from monomeric structural units of conjugated carboxylic acid or its salt with an alkali metal, alkali-earth metal or ammonium or from a combination thereof. Binder B is a polymer based on monomeric styrene and butadiene structural units.
EFFECT: invention enables to produce a battery with improved performance and reliability.
