SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to flat-plate collector. In the flat-plate collector containing carrying body (1), multiple conducting segments (3) and the same number of carbon segments (4) electrically and geometrically connected with conducting segments, each carbon segment (4) has located opposite to brush working surface (5) ring projection (13) butt end (15) of which is in contact with ring contact surface (16) of mating conducting segment (3). Ring contact surfaces (16) are circled by contact ring (24) of corresponding conducting segment (3) which ring is in contact with mating ring projection (13) without any gap. Each conducting segment has projecting contact pin (17) entering without any gap into hole of ring projection (13) of mating carbon segment (4). Thus carbon segments are electrically connected with conducting segments (3) along outer ring surface, ring end surface (15) and inner ring surface of ring projection (13).
EFFECT: obtaining favorable current density distribution at boundary between conducting segments and long lifetime.
