FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to adamantane derivatives chemistry, specifically to new production method of 2-N-phenylamino-2-cyanoadamantane or its derivatives of general formula 1 . Method consists in interaction of adamantanone-2 with aniline or its derivatives of variety: p-toluidine, p-anisidine, p-bromaniline, o-phenylendiamine in molar ratio 1:1.04-1.25 respectively in toluene medium with toluene sulfacid within 1.5-3 hours to form 2-adamantylidenphenylimine or its derivative then interacting with acetonecyanhydrine in molar raio 1:3-4 respectively with potassium carbonate in catalyst amount at temperature 60-80°C within 15-30 minutes. Yield of 2-N-phenylamino-2-cyanoadamantane or its derivatives is 79-98%.
EFFECT: extended range of adamantane derivatives, development of new method of high yield adamantane derivatives synthesis.
