FIELD: medicine; orthopedics and traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: surgical cutting tool includes handle with operation element in the form of arched bend against handle plane on the handle end. Operation element has C-shaped cross-section and includes blade and cut limiters. Convex bend side has round convex shape. Concave bend side has a form of groove with dulled edges. Blade is formed by end sharpening at a plane forming 30-45° angle with the groove edges.
EFFECT: efficient and safe shoulder joint capsule dissection and loosening of long capitulum sinew of biceps arm muscle, forming of cut with shape and size matching shape of respective sinew surface, efficient and safe meniscus resection during operations on knee joint.
