FIELD: medicine; orthopaedic and traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: tendon of long head of arm biceps muscle is stitched thus providing thread tails left of length at least twice exceeding wound depth. Canal is formed in a bone between humerus surgical neck line and articular surface of its head. Canal output is provided on a line connecting upper point of intertubercular transverse and lower point of humerus anatomic neck, 1/3 lengths of specified line from its upper point. Central segment of tendon is delivered through the canal with its end face fixed to that of distal end of tendon.
EFFECT: complete restoration of joint function.
