FIELD: physics, electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to quantum electronics and can be used for development of slab compact gas lasers intended for nonlinear medium pumping and for conversion wave front of probe lasing within laser reaction jets. Laser contains high-frequency pump oscillator, electromagnetic drive field generator of active medium, two-mirror optical resonator integrating electromagnetic drive field generator of active medium and the most active medium. In electromagnetic drive field generator of active medium, high-frequency electrodes are shaped as flat, parallel, round, coaxial metal centre-hole disks. Optical resonator consists of two mirrors in the form of closed rings common axis of which is aligned with axis of high-frequency disk electrodes. Greater ring mirror borders external edge of round disk electrodes and is covered with reflective coating on internal surface. Smaller ring mirror borders centre-hole edge of disk electrodes and is covered with reflective coating on external surface. One mirror is translucent.

EFFECT: pattern formation, ie overall directed radially convergent or divergent output optical beam.
