METHOD OF DIAGNOSTICS OF INTRATHORACIC ARTERY ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B8/00 

FIELD: medicine; functional diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: diameters of intrathoracic arteries (ITA) are estimated by means of ultrasound transthoracic examination before and after pharmacological test. As pharmacological preparation nitroglycerin pill 0.5 mg sublingually is used. A minute after intake of nitroglycerin, ITA diameters are determined and index of endothelial dysfunction of intrathoracic arteries is calculated by suggested formula. If value of IEDITA increment is less than 110% endothelial dysfunction of intrathoracic arteries is diagnosed.

EFFECT: identification of patients with ITA endothelium dysfunction, estimation of ITA functional state and estimation of dysfunction of mammarocoronary bypass endothelium.
