SUBSTANCE: during autopsy right and left intrathoraxic arteries are accessed by separation of breastbone from rib cartilages, exposure of intrathoraxic artery fragments at the internal breastbone side in their anatomic beds with subjacent tissues containing fat and cellular tissue, and artery excision for histological research.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and credibility of pathologoanatomic diagnosis.
