FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method of receiving silver-tin oxide material for electric contacts and can be used in electrical industry. Method includes alloying of tin and silver and oxidation of alloys in oxygen. There are alloyed tin and silver in inert atmosphere, at containing of silver from 60 till 80 at%, and are oxidised at temperature 1273 K during 10-30 minutes.
EFFECT: receiving of material with higher content of tin oxide and nano-dimensional particles of silver at usage of catastrophic oxidation process.
